Library Wars....

Founder's Library...well the right half of it
Soooooooo I have this spot in the library where I like to study.  It's close enough to the window where I can get natural light and I can look outside when I need a break but far enough that I'm not just constantly looking outside at the water.  And I found this spot my very first time in the library.  And I sit in it everytime I come.  And everything was fine and happy for the first week or so of classes.

And then one day, I come to the library to find someone in my seat!!!! And I knew it was going to be this particular guy who was going to take my seat because a couple of days before, he was a few seats over, and then day by day he inched closer and soon enough, he was sitting next to me...getting ready to take my spot!

Now, I'm aware that normal people would just be like "oh ok, whatever" and find a new seat.  But because I'm not normal and have weird attachments to inanimate objects and can't handle change, I was not going to just give up and find a new seat.

And I knew that he (pink shirt boy) knew that I considered it my seat.  And he knew that I knew that he was taking my seat on purpose.  Cause I don't care that he's a fifth termer and technically this could have been his seat.  It's mine now!!  And really, if I could, I would have peed on that seat to mark it as my territory like dogs do. hahaha. gross.

So anyways, everytime he was in my seat, I sat next to him and as soon as he would leave, I would move back to my spot so that when he came back, he could see that it really belonged to me.  Then he would sit next to me and then do it back to me when I left.  And once every few hours, I would send him evil death rays with my mind so that he would feel funny and weird inside everytime he sat in my seat.  And I did  NOT smile back at him or acknowledge him when I saw him on campus like I do to the other "library usuals".

I WON THE WAR!!!
This went on everyday for like a week and a half.  And then two days ago, he was in a NEW seat and MY seat was open.  And I didn't want to get too excited in case he was just messing with me BUT he has been in his new seat for three days now and my seat is now open for meeeeeee!!!!! yayyyyyyyyyyy  I won the war. (and yes, I am also a creeper for taking this picture of him today)

And the moral of this blog is to show you what you can accomplish by being stubborn and standing your ground...and also by sending evil death rays to people with your mind.  haha

And now I can study in peace :)
